Picture It: scoring an invite to the new E3 [update 1]

Oct 16th 2006 1:15PM (Joystiq)
"I don't think you get my point, voice of reason."

It's not just voice of reason, is it Vlad? Nobody gets your point. You are so misunderstood. If only everybody realized how funny your repetitive graphs are, or how your extensive latin catchphrase knowledge isn't the mental equivalent of stuffing a couple of socks down your pants. If people understood your rapier wit maybe you wouldn't have to post update after update explaining the context of your posts. But alas! such is not your fate.

By the way, on the whole variable thing, the event itself is the independent variable while the chance of being invited is a dependent variable. The flattering things said could be an additional dependent variable or a confounding variable if it wasn't figured in to the experiment at the beginning.

GPS sells out in Japan

I just found out about a bunch of planned Sony peripherals! Here they are in no particualr order.

SonySuds Washer: Use PSP software to program a load of wash. Dishwasher coming soon!

SonySnacks Microwave: Tired of pushing buttons on your microwave? With SonySnacks you can use the PSP's OS to program your meal's cook time. Bing!

SonyShox Defibrillator: No paramedics in sight? No problem! Revive friends and loved ones with the push of a button. Comes in Sterile Silver, Heart-Attack Red and Not-Breathing Blue.

SonySkates: Use this simple kit to transform your PSP into a rollerblade! (Requires two PSPs for maximum efficiency. SCE is not responsible for serious injury or death resulting from use of this product. Skate responsibly.)

The PSP is so worth it.

eBay's PS3/Wii auction cancellations are a good move

Psaakyrn, your anti-American rant about people selling video game consoles on e-bay is about the stupidest fucking thing I've read this year, and I read a lot. Go bitch about a real issue, like North Korea selling nukes on e-bay or something along those lines (it's only a matter of time!).
In any event, PS3lvr is right. Sony is the problem, not America. If Sony wants to allocate their PS3s to one market and totally neglect another, hate to tell you this, but we're not the ones fucking the Europeans.
You can't tell me that Sony wouldn't love to sell out of their 400k units and say, "Guess what? We sold out of our console faster than anyone else this holiday season and we were right about the price. People are more than willing to pay $600 for our new Blu-r...game console. No price cuts in the near future!" Holy shit, it's the PSP all over again. Get your head out of your ass. If this is the biggest problem in your life you need some help.

On the phone with GameStop ... and GameStop, and GameStop ....

I pre-ordered mine back in January at a GameCrazy. After some wise budgeting I'm sitting pretty at $400 with another $150 to go for everything that I want at launch. Have fun waiting in line at GameSuck.

Yeah, BMWM3P not only has a trust fund, he also has more than his fair share of penis envy. Anybody that has to talk about how his car has every option in the book and buy a system so big it dwarfs Rhode Island is in serious need of some "enhancement".

Is it really any wonder that the PS3's version of Acheivements are called "Entitlements". Every Sony fanboy I know of is an entitled, self-absorbed asshole with too much money. Prove me wrong guys. Prove me wrong.

Few like to acknowledge this, but Page says the same nonsensical, delirious, stupid bullshit every time he/she/it posts.

Sony moves a step closer to junk; outlook "negative"

Wow. Sometimes "I told you so" just isn't enough.

pixelator, I disagree with you a lot of the time and vice versa, but please do me the courtesy of not associating me with Granavatar_OfMe. Whether or not he is in reality a DS fanboy is anybody's guess, however, Sony has more than its share of "rabid, moronic PSP fanboy[s]".

On topic, if you were to walk into my local Wal-Mart, you would see about 20 PSPs hanging out at any one time. Now, I have no idea how many Wal-Marts there are in the world, but I don't find it hard to believe that with all of the many places that sell PSPs, that there are roughly 7 million unsold to the consumers at this very moment.

On a side note, you and ninja obviously don't find your PSP games entertaining at all since you post articles not only here, but on several other blogs as well. Hypocrites.

I'm so glad that Sony has officially parted ways with reality. Just so I'm on the same page, they just make shit up now, right? Expect some Sony exec to come out at the end of the fiscal year and say something akin to:

"The PSP has sold over 35 infinity units in February alone. With the profits made we've been able to cure cancer and erase the national debt. Next week we will either begin cloning dinosaurs or inventing a time machine in order to capture them and bring them to the present."

In other news, Mayors of the world be on guard. According to Granavatar_OfMe the PSP has already kicked some "mayor butts" and intends to kick more in the near future.

PS3 pre-orders open tomorrow at EB Gamestop

Patrick sounds like an asshole, but not because of his ideas, his presentation is just blatant. Not necessarily "is" an asshole, just "sounds like".

Laughing target is dead on, as per usual.

howhow, I get where you're coming from but believe it or not having or not having a PS3 isn't going to make anyone "happy", and if it does they have some fucked up priorities.

Wild Homes, the only reason they have "laws" against employees buying new systems is because customers are greedy, entitled, pricks. Ask anybody who works in customer service and you'll discover that the customer is NEVER right. They're just bullies because they know that nobody will tell them what a dumb fuck they are. (That wasn't really all directed at you Wild Homes, it's just an issue that I have.)
