Looks like he's using the EnergyROM rather than an official update. I had that on my X1 yesterday but found the SMS didn't work. The Twitter tab does work rather nicely though.

I'm using NXE in the UK with HDMI audio and not had a problem. All a lot of fuss over nothing.

Damn, that's a nice device. And I only got my X1 on Monday too...

Same chip they use int he Cowon A3 so I expect the feature set to be the same, just be an uglier device. I own an iUbi Blue and I don't rate their support for the device. The only major difference between this and the A3 is bluetooth support which personally I wouldn't say is worth the sacrifice in terms of support and build quality.
