I loved the level design in this DLC although I thought the pacing and dialogue were a bit off. Overall though, this didn't fall short of my expectations at all. Some of these problems associated with the AI (wretches in circles etc.) I've seen in the main campaign, and these didn't really occur any more frequently in the DLC,.. And to let minor problems like that taint an entire review seems unprofessional. Skyrim has far worse and people are still lauding it as game of the year (and personally, I'd play gears over skyrim any day, and I do own both although I am willing to recognise that's a personal preference) This was a great throwback to gears 1 style gameplay and I can't understand how the revviewer overlooked this. I do agree though, RAAM sections were a bit token.

@GamingColt Making my payment for the first DLC basically worthless since a) I don't often play horde b) the maps never came up in matchmaking c) who actually gives a shit about weapon skins?!

Still, I do appreciate the fact that they are distributing the maps for free now - that's how it by and large should be, especielly since three of them were already on the disk, and it might actually mean they come up in matchmaking. Yea, people need to be urged to download this shit. Just don't let people pay for the stuff beforehand who may basically get nothing out of it.

Well, this looks like absolute tat. The kinda thing the exemplifies what shouldn't be made for a gimmicky peripheral.

@Platoesq My sentiments exactly; I'm quite a big fan of side scrollers (wouldn't say hardcore) and love games that get really creative with their environmental/level designs. It appears this game actually indulges a little bit too much in this, but that isn't really a terrible thing and it is only a teaser.. But man, those are nice graphics.

@KiraXD No, I have to agree, the graphics somehow surpasses left 4 dead's grainy shitness.
