All Dragon Quest games in Japan had a subtitle.

Dragon Quest VII: Wariors of Eden for example

And let us not forget about the "Journey of the Cursed King".

It's possessive. For example Zelda no Densetsu is Legend of Zelda or alternatively it could mean Zelda's Legend. Something like that anyway.

With regards to the whole eggman/robotnik thing. According to sega, he's both. They worked it that Eggman is an alias, though his real name is Robotnik. even worked that into Japanese canon with the whole Gerald Robotnik grandad thing.

If you prefer Robotnik, keep using it, It's still correct.

A little risky on MS's part. I don't know whether this would be a good idea or not. On the one hand it's good to keep Sony and Nintendo on their toes(though Nintendo are already on their toes and doing quite well for it too. Sony's PSP forced Ninty's innovation hand and voila, the DS instead on another GB). On the other, can MS afford to be distracted from the 360? They really should focus their efforts on ensuring the 360's success. And it depends on the type of product they want to make. As has been shown, the uber- powerful media device doesn't seem to ensure dominance. The PSP is floundering in Japan, and just barely keeping up with the DS elsewhere.

If MS wants to be a success in the handheld market it really can't put out a PSP clone. It needs to think clearly about this.

To all those who wish for a stalemate, I agree.

The MegaDrive-SNES battle was so close it didn't matter.

Now if this poll was about who people would like to see "improve" marketshare, I'd have to say Nintendo. I think they can do that, if not win out on marketshare.

A stalemate is very unlikely to happen. The expense and similarity of the 360 and PS3 will likely only allow one to clearly win overthe others. In the end only games matter.

Wii is a different kettle of fish though. As it's such a differnt machine, we can't gauge its success on previous outings.

Yeah. This is weak for the PA guys.

I thought they would have come up with something better.

They can make some of the wittiest jabs at industry.

Making a good Wii joke though seemed to elude them.

What seems to escape VC here is that we( at least I) don't want this to stop, we want it to be mixed up with other things a little more often than is happening at the moment.
