Jul 21st 2010 1:51PM (Joystiq)Another story, when I was much older, I woke up and looked at my digital alarm clock...and the moment I did it, the thing started to go haywire on me, counting up quickly, turning into gibberish, back to numbers. In my half-awake state, that creeped me the hell out.

Jun 4th 2010 11:58AM (Joystiq Xbox)And as far as the article talking about the visuals...have you looked at 90% of the rest of the Indie Games catalog? This game looks AAA compared to some on the Marketplace. I'll definately be checking this game out.

Apr 20th 2010 11:29AM (Joystiq)I grew up playing the Ultima roleplaying game series, which had a great story, fun gameplay, and an interesting take on morality and virtue (especially compared to other games at the time). Fast forward some years since the last real entry in the Ultima series, and this is what fans of Ultima are rewarded with: A browser based RTS where construction time is real time, with no real feeling of it being attached to Ultima in anything but name. To me, it feels like a deeper, more complex Farmville.
I checked it out for about a half hour, 45 mins, but quickly learned it wasn't the Ultima game I've hoped for. Some people may really enjoy the game, but it's Ultima only in name for me. I guess I came off sounding like a troll, but it's just my opinion.
And yes, I"m actually downloading Exult as we speak to play Ultima 7. I never did finish Serpent's Isle back in the day and recently found my Ultima Collection disk. Might even play Ultima 8 if I can find a way to get it running on my Win XP system.
