You might be able to use an additional portable wireless router to gain access to the iSpot. Most router allows you to change its MAC address in its admin screen. So, you can just assign an iXXX MAC address to thr portable router, then connect the router to the iSpot. Your devices will then use the portable router for access.

Here comes a new math concept. Apple's percentage is less than everyone else's percentage. For example, Apple's 0.55% is less than HTC's 0.016%, or to express in math:

The pair of photos above reveal a problem with iPhone 4's high pixel density. Yes, you can have a high pixel count. But that doesn't change the fact that the physical size of the text is smaller. When viewing web pages, physical size of the text is every bit as important as the pixel density.

The biggest problem is the heat of the hard drive. No matter what Apple does, it's not going to change the fact that modern high density hard drives run hot. The mini, obvious, barely has enough cooling power. It may be enough to cool the hard drive running for a while, but unless you can cool the drive down further, it will probably die much sooner than a computer with more cooling mechanism.

If 720p display becomes a norm, be ready to the return of 4"+ screen. At 326ppi, the iPhone is selling you something we barely need. A 12px font is roughly around 1/27 inch tall. How many of you can read text at this size without zooming? Of course, if you zoom in, you will have to scroll more. Even on my Droid, I rarely find myself reading full desktop website without zooming.

The Droid X, if its resolution is the same as the Droid, with its bigger display, may actually do a favor to the user -- we may actually scroll less.

Quote me on this -- if you see AT&T promoting Android phones heavily, then you know its exclusive deal is going south.

I have no intention to get a Windows 7 phone. I will stay with my Android OS. But I want Zune. So, anyone working for MS on Zune, read this -- there are people willing to pay for Zune even though they are not using a MS device. Bring me an Android app for Zune, please.

I don't think it will destroy Android, but no matter how you look at it, it's not a pleasant situation. I can "buy" the notion that it's not an issue of fragmentation but an accelerated legacy. However, the mobile market is not like the PC market. In the US, customers are almost always tied to a carrier for 2 or more years. If I buy an Android 2.1 handset today with a new contract, I am basically stuck with it for the next 2 years. If there's not a 2.2 upgrade, the only way for me to acquire one is to sell my 2.1 handset, then buy a 2.2 one. That's A LOT OF WORKS to a non-tech savvy consumer (and a lot of money.)

Folks, that's refocusing -- look at the numbers. Apple is doubling down on its mobile devices. Over time, it will spend less and less on the Mac.
