She lied about it to the police so she wouldn't sound as stupid. She's a pretty good liar, since everybody's reporting that he told her there was a fire when that never happened.

He just said he thought it was a waste of time. Kind of a silly thing for everybody to get butt-hurt over. I like the project though and I think Ben Heck's got one of the coolest jobs for a person to have. It's ridiculous to tell someone something along the lines of "If you don't like it, shut up" when all they're doing is giving constructive criticism. All of you have done exactly what you're telling them not to do. Stop being immature about it.

Eidos published Backyard Wrestling. The development team that worked on the Backyard wrestling games was bought out by Midway and changed the name of their studios to Midway Studios - Los Angeles. That's the same development team that is now working on TNA iMPACT.

TNA's popularity isn't on the rise actually. They've been hovering around 1.1 ratings for about a year now. They're peak highest rating in their entire history is only a 1.2 I think.

It sucks that this game's being made by the same people that developed Backyard Wrestling.

I actually think the Japanese box art is really ugly. The US box art matches the feel of Metroid a bit more I think.

I don't see how he can say that it's a borderline failure. No game is going to sell anywhere near as many copies as Halo 3 on opening day/week. But give it time. There are plenty of games, just from last gen that have outsold Halo 2 in the long run. Day one sales don't mean long-term sales.

Before the newest update, I would've said ESPN NFL 2K5. But that's just been added and I've been replaying the game on my 360 this week. I think now the only game I own that I want to be backwards compatible for the 360 is Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.
