microsoft must own or have some contractual clause regarding the other two games in the mass effect trilogy

the way its worded here etc, it would be conceivable that if bioware stayed independent, microsoft would publish the first game and have no control over where the 2 sequels appear.

sure, microsoft dont own the IP but i cant see how they wouldnt have a contractual agreement regarding the sequels.

just look at the microsoft / epic / gears of war.

epic owns the IP, microsoft published the first game but microsoft have the right to the first 3 games (2 sequels)

surely its a similar scenario here

my analysis of this would be that, the XBox360 crowd are more 'hardcore' gamers and are therefore likely to buy another console or maybe even all three.

the Wii however seems to be selling to the more casual market who are content with one console and wouldnt consider adding a second

personally, this doesnt really effect me as the last game i bought from GAME was Black & White on PC. and ive never bought from GameStation - purely because the internet prices are alot better than high street prices.

however, i dont like the idea of one company owning the rest of the market as there wont be any competition price wise etc

how does a 19 episode per disc at a cost of $20 equate to roughly 50 cents per episode. 50 cents per episode would be 19 x 0.5 = $9.50

anyway, i would download these as an impulse purchase and for the convenience of not having to trawl through the rvb site

id prefer a kameo sequel over a perfect dark sequel. pdz was an average game that benefited from being a launch title and being exclusive - cod2 was the better shooter by far

kameo i felt was the better game and one of the most under-rated games on xbox360 still to this day. i urge anybody who hasnt tried it to at least give it a rental or use the marketplace demo's although the game is so vast compared to what the demo's offer

a new k-instinct game wouldnt be bad either

i worked out that for an american on minimum wage, the xbox 360 works out to 77hours of wages.

in comparison, somebody in the uk and minimum wage, the xbox360 would take them 55hours of work.

so infact, the uk gets a better deal as we dont need to work as long to buy the product as our american counterparts despite the price being higher here.

i also calculated that in the uk we pay 37.5% over the u.s price. for ps3 we pay 39.% over the u.s price but its actually the wii which is 41% higher priced over here compared to america

so, nintendo is the company with the worst pricing scheme for people in the uk and xbox360 has the best.

nb: this was comparing the premium xbox and the 60gb ps3. obviously only one wii sku available

had mine since launch (december 05) and only had one problem with a live update which wouldnt allow my 360 to read discs but microsoft offered to replace the hdd for free.

but after finishing on the phone i then went about moving game saves onto a mem card and the 360 updated again and solved the initial problem

i do know 2 people who's xbox has died though and both just got instant replacements!!

hitachi drive. uk launch console and isnt loud enough that i notice it. only if i mute everything and have my pc off can i hear it

i didnt even know microsoft had changed from 50 achievements to 80

on topic - im loving the demo and have had this game on pre-order for a while now

yeh, heard this on 1up yours last night. they kinda just talked about it casually but i couldnt remember if this had even been confirmed for 360 or not.
