@SirUrza And that's the question. Why did those games turn out so bad. I think it takes more than a talented development team. It takes inspiration and if the development staff doesn't have it for what the boss puts on the table then the boss should reevaluate.
Also pumped! The look of the game shows the developers have a true love for the franchise. Congratulations Sega, you found the right people for the job.
I know it's just a trailer but it already appears as if Gearbox understands the importance of placing the horror of the franchise above the action. I skipped the recent AVP because they seemed to miss the mark in this respect.
Seventeen *days?* Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen *hours!* Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here...
@xxxsam You're are so very very wrong Sir and you don't even realize it! You might be too young to remember what quality video game journalism looks like.
Build a quality mag using good, honest writing and people will flock to it. Most American mags lost credibility as their reviewers were forced into using the inflating poo curve. On the flip side quality mags like the dearly departed Next Generation lost because they were brutally honest and overtly dependent on ad revenues.
If this mag can go the likes of NPR, paid for by listeners like you, it could be the biggest and brightest thing to happen in American vg journalism since the mighty NG!
Mr. Rignall, I'd like an Arcade section please Sir! As long as there are AMOA Shows and new arcade games getting released like Namco's Dead Heat and Pac-Man Battle Royale there are reasons to include them in print. Good hunting Sir, the American market is wide open and waiting.
3D gaming's approval rating low, blamed on inherited wars and economy
Sep 25th 2011 12:24AM (Joystiq)This may add a cool effect to 2D games but this doesn't make 2D look 3D. I'd rather see Nintendo incubate this tech a little longer.
