Joyswag: Win a Kojima-signed copy of MGS4

If it smells like MGS1, then the trash obviously needs to get tossed. Allow me to do it for you.

Don't pay for Qore, wait for demos

Jun 4th 2008 8:16AM (Joystiq Playstation)
the more I think about this the more conflicted I get. But I keep going back to the "free" copy of Calling all Cars if I buy the annual package and wondering if I'll be getting any more free PSN content like that...

As for it being the new OPM, I'm sure there will be bluntly negative reviews delivered straight to oyur PS3 hard drive any time now. Srsly.

Sony reveals Qore - an interactive gaming program for the PSN

Jun 3rd 2008 7:50AM (Joystiq Playstation)
So it's been lost on everyone that this allows Sony to charge you to
join betas (i.e. lets see how and in how many ways we can make your
ps3 reset itself), download demos, and even charges you for the
privilege of having access to paid DLC? Count me out, I'll wait for
it to hit youtube. This would've been a great opportunity to promote
their content, but man, they sure took a running start at that
slippery slope.

But look at that "Calling Al Cars, Full Game - Available to Annual subscribers only". Now if there's a free network game coming out every month, THAT might be a reason to subscribe! I've been hemming and hawing over CAC for awhile now...

Joyswag: Win Grand Theft Auto IV on your platform of choice

PS3 version for me. I had the money lined up in my budget, but then my company effed up the benefits distributions last month and I was shortchanged over a hundred bucks (as was everyone else in the company, salary depending). Should be corrected by the 15th of May, which, as you know, is way too long to wait to wreck some havoc with an eastern European.

VGCats and CtrlAltDel haven't been funny for ages. I'm glad one of them had the faux-nads to rip the other a new one, though. Dino Comics FTW!

Not only do they try to humiliate their son on the internet (kinda backfired eh), but they also ELECTROCUTE their son. Daily. For kicks.

Want proof? Just look at the kid's hair.

DS Fanboy review: Trioncube

Apr 2nd 2007 3:22PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
all you do is shit on the game, but it still gets a passing grade? Heart in the right place or not, all you say is that it's a bad game. It should get a 2 or 3 at best, especially if it's not fun, rips off old mechanics, and has little to no replay value (something that is embedded in anything calling itself a puzzle game).
