Take a video tour of the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack

Apr 8th 2008 3:22AM (Joystiq)
i think these maps are great. I still havent played the tiny map yet, the training styled one.

As for being screwed without a sniper, hardly. the level rocks if you learn it. its already my favourite. getting on average 19 kills per game.

The Bourne Conspiracy 'Takedown Trailer' demonstrates groin punching engine

i think this is all in game cutscene, I cant imagine youd actually be able to control your characters fight moves as smoothly as it is shown.

maybe theyre utilising the same game mechanics as in god of war, ya know, cutscene.... press X.... cutscene ..... press o ... cutscene ... press , oh no, your dead, you didnt press it fast enough. try again.

Iron Man trailers are increasingly awesome

Possibly one of the best gun arcade games around.

Easily better than virtua cop series and evil dead.

They manage to keep the graphics looking fresh with every incarnation.

Today's newest game video: Assassin's Creed trailer

Amazing as this game looks, I cant help to keep noticing that the character you plays movements look really stiff in places. I hope they sort that out because at the moment the fluidity of the characters from prince of persia are way better.

im so looking forward to this game...

Trim the fat off PSP flash with Outa-Space homebrew

Feb 21st 2007 7:46AM (Joystiq)
@2: Not strong on games?

We have almost all of the main franchises that were major hits on the PS2 on or coming to the PSP. That includes MGS, GT, GTA. A giant catalogue of PS1 games are becoming available (or already available if you use your own roms).

The homebrew scene has exploded again with the advent of custom firmwares, not to mention all the emulators on the psp which range from the good old atari and amiga, all the way upto the GBA and soon N64. Comon what other portable system on this entire planet can match that?

so your comment regarding no games on the psp only holds water if: uh, ok, thats true if ..

1. you dont own a psp.
2. you live under a rock.
3. your a DS fanboy
4. your not into games.

No im not a sony fanboy, I sold my PS3 for a 360 and I have a wii. I have a DS which I never use and the PSP has had more play time than all of my consoles put together.

Please people, do some research before you leave comments, you only make yourselves look silly.

Today's ballsiest video: Crackdown Iron Ball Gag

Feb 20th 2007 6:57AM (Joystiq)
Crackdown is a pretty good game. Just like GTA, you can play it in spades the first few times, but after you ahve seen and done everything (which is not going to take very long in crackdown) you wont want to re visit it.

The exagerated physics in this game are pretty good, I dont think you can relly ask for realisn in a game where the caracters are super human.

And regarding the video.. seriously, the end was brilliant. Cant you trim the video to the last 10 seconds? the rest was painful to watch.
