Ubisoft teases with Splinter Cell Conviction site

May 14th 2009 6:28PM (Joystiq)
You guys wishing for Chaos Theory Reborn realize that the old version still runs, right? In fact there's quite a few of us who still play frequently on XBL. I would love a new version too, but in the meantime, I'm still enjoying the current one.

Best of the Rest: James' Picks of 2008

Jan 1st 2009 4:29PM (Joystiq)
I just spent the majority of my Christmas playing Bionic Commando Rearmed on the 360 with my brother. The co-op gameplay is amazing. The enemies get smarter, the bosses get tougher, and the adaptive split-screen mechanics seemed pretty innovative, if infuriating at times (it's hard to see where to swing from when you only have half the screen to work with). After playing the demo I decided 'seems pretty good, I'll pay for this'. Best game purchase I've made in a LONG time. And the challenge maps are going to keep me occupied for a while yet. Well done, GRIN.

For anyone who wants to play Chaos Theory multiplayer, we still play several nights a week, and would love an increase in the population. Send an invite to BeeKnuckle or Gnaeugh, and we'll do some Snappy Snap.

Also, we've got a small Facebook group called "Splinter Cell: Spy Merc". Join if you like.

Xbox 360 outsold PS3 in Japan last week

This shows the power of advertising... In all electronics shops in downtown Tokyo, every ad is for either Super Mario Galaxy, Ace Combat 6, or some remake of Dragon Quest for DS.
