Yeah I buy the cool stuff myself. LOL Bought myself COD, a Kinect, and I'm going to pick up the newest Metroid with a gift card just so I have them all.

Interesting. Against better judgement I bought both. To me, Move is more practical, but the KInect is more interesting. Neither have managed to keep me interested so far.

We are really still waiting to see which games each is going to get that will differentiate themselves from the competition. The games out so far haven't offered much for new experiences on either console.

@BazookaJim ... And here's reality: maybe we don't want to play it on the Wii even if we have one. It isn't an enjoyable console or control system for everyone.

The same applies to all consoles really. Consumers should be able to play games on their preferred system. If devs and publishers don't offer that, they will lose potential sales.

No, bought the regular slim and a slim ps3 instead. I wish I would have got the reach version to break up all the black!

Finally! No more thumb-bumping. When the two analog sticks are in the middle, whenever I move right and turn left....BAM! Maybe I can get through Killzone 2 now without wanting to throw the controller.

Loved the dualshock...on the PS1. Two generations later, it's time for an upgrade. Shame on us for bagging on the boomerang controller. I bought the PS2 psyclone boomerang on clearance and to my surprise it had a great feel. But this one appears like a good alternative :)

That Wii controller looks like a must as well; I don't care for the feel of the stock Wii Remote; it feels over-sized and heavier than it should. The nunchuk is fine other than the wire to me.

Part of the problem is that I don't think Microsoft advertised properly to the non-keeping-up-on-gaming-news masses. It seems to me that group didn't even know it was available for the Xbox.

I didn't get it for the PS3 even though that's why I bought the console originally. After playing it for a while...I don't really think it matters. I don't like the story or the characters, which really kills a FF game for me. The dialogue makes me die inside.

To be fair, I had the same problem with IX and XII as well. The last RPG that really caught my attention was the Xenosaga series....too bad it was prematurely cut-off. I think I'm giving up on looking forward to new FF's at this point.

Monolith should have developed this...not Rebellion. I found AvP2 much better quality than its predecessor, and had a good balance between atmosphere and playability. It's still a great game....I almost wish they would have just port and polished it instead of this latest effort.

'lith has shown their ability in Condemned and FEAR, why not reel them in again? I really think they could do better.

I'll take 5. Or just one. Hopefully it surpasses expectations...just looking forward to pouncing on people from the ceiling again.
