Mass Effect 3 'Extended Cut' DLC free this summer, offers 'further clarity to the ending'

Waaaaaaaah!

Sorry. Complaining about everything has become a reflex.

Mmmm... dry-fried eggplant.

This.

And frankly, that's all they should feel any pressure to do. Maybe give us a little bit of an epilogue so that we can see that the galaxy continues to spin, and that Garrus isn't doomed to die on a planet where they have the wrong food, and...

But I don't expect or want them to change the endings or provide new ones.

Feeling the 'Intensity' of Kid Icarus: Uprising

@PulpHero

I wasn't aware that Famitsu was the last word on what makes a perfect game.

There are more than enough reviews complaining about the awkward/painful control scheme that some caution is justified. Individual reviews can be taken with a grain of salt, but when a lot of people independently mention the exact same problem, I think it's safe to say that Famitsu is the outlier on this one.

This is very similar to the difficulty setup in The World Ends With You.

Except TWEWY was one of the best games ever released. I remain intrigued about Uprising, but the early reports are worrisome...

Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'

@Gaddes

Wait... after your histrionic "I'm never buying a Bioware game again! (runs upstairs and slams bedroom door)", you're telling someone else they're a troll?

Ok.

@Doublethink

Moviegoers don't petition the internet to get the producer to change the ending after the movie has been released.

What happens in movies is they focus-test the story to death until they settle on some universally acceptable Hollywood happy ending, so that every movie is tailor-made for the lowest common denominator.

Whether I find the ending sad or incomplete is irrelevant. I'm glad that gaming hasn't yet bent to the same pressures that Hollywood has. The last thing we need is every story being told to satisfy the tastes of hooting and hollering masses.

NintendoWare Weekly: Punch-Out!!, King of Fighters '97

This is a little disappointing... of all the old NES games that would have benefited from a coat of 3D paint, Punch Out must be the top of the list.

"Everyone isn't a demographic"

Clearly Android users aren't. I don't know why this company deliberately limits its audience. When asked, the wiseasses can't offer anything but the following on their website:

"Despite what you may have heard, Android is a total dead-end for a complex project & a tiny team like ours. It wouldn't just be unwise, it would be irresponsible."

What the hell does that even mean?

@TUROK1134

That's a little unfair. They got that money *because* the game looked so incredible.
