Firstly being in europe sucks ass, and honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Sony delay the PS3 here, yet again (though I wouldn't expect confirmation on that until a few weeks before ;) )

However, With things in the video games industry release dates are pretty shady at best, I know this is hardware and not games, but MS forced Sony's move and to release early imo and they are reeling to get out there, but say what they can to keep people thinking PS3 is just around the corner, so they don't buy a 360.

It sucks, but there is nothing we can do, and we should never expect too much from a Sony launch.

I dunno about other countries, but uk net speeds pretty much suck ass. ADSL2 gets up to 22mb there about line.. and thats within a very limited distance from the exchange.. over BT phone lines adsl is never gonna be great, as for cable here, it is pretty expensive and not growing in speed as much as it could or as fast as it should.

So given the way the net is in uk, i'd say blu-ray/hd-dvd have a future... digital distribution for files as large as BR games like resistance boasted at 22gb... ouch... Can you imagine a final fantqasy game with all that HD FMV?

It's a nice idea, but then you really don't own the software unless you have the ability to burn... no trade in on games anymore, or selling them when your bored of them. more like what the rumours were of sony saying you basically just have a licence to play it, but it's not yours to do with what you will...

Well I played the demo and it was decent game, i just couldn't get into it, really. Though i know it's a highly anticipated 360 game, and will give the full version a try when it launches.

Not caring to change anyones opinion but the Wii was bound to have a lot more attention at E3 than ps3/360. Simply for the fact it is fresh and new, people are curious and wanted to try it and see if it was good or bad. If the machine was worth the hype or not.
The PS3/360 would get less attention simply due to the fact that as excited as people may be to play the machine or new games, they know the kind of experiences they will be having.

Anyway I hope there will be some interesting news to come out of the conferences tomorrow.

Firsti'm quite sure that heavenly sword is 'real-time' as at E306 they showed GAMEPLAY, it wasn't as good as the render from E305 but still good, and this HS trailer looks just a cutscene.

Lair's original trailer was 'real-time' looking much like this - i doubt it's changed for render, looks only slightly better than i expect it to look.

And yes while these videos do look good if the PS3 can do them, chances are the 360 can too, it wont be for a while yet until the machines begin to slightly outshine each other in different departments.

If you an xbox/nintendo fanboy with no interest in ps3, why download the videos? why post on a thread that is gonna be all about ps3, and filled with ps3 supporters/fanboys? I think it really is just to make yourselves feel superior but seriously grow up. Wanna see real-time GAMEPLAY footage from PS3, look around it's not hard to find.

All 3 machines are good, each has it's benefits and weaknesses. Get over it.

He surely will be missed, his voice acting work was fantastic. I remembered him first from Legacy of Kain Series, believe Soul Reaver 2 had voice over section in the extras.. Will watch again I think.

@42. Are you a fanboy, hater of Sony? Because it is Sega you should hate in this case. I hardly imagine Sony begged and pleaded with Sega for a Genesis/MegaDrive Collection.

Get real, stop hating, grow up.

As for those complaining about the lack of Streets Of Rage, really both that Series and Sonic 3 & knuckles have been addressed by Sega already with Sonic Mega Collection & Sonic Gems Collection.
Also Gunstar Heroes has been released so far in Japan on the treasure box collection along with Alien Soldier and Dynamite Headdy.

I'm surprised at the lack of Revenge of Shinobi, and after burner would have been nice on there. Otherwise though great to hear it, and I can't wait to get it!

The list over at IGN, shows Assassin's Creed as only PS3... I wonder how it'll turn out.... roll on E3
