@GFunk84 Hmm... on second thought, their calculations might not consider the input delay of the monitor used in the demo. It is possible that the delay that Natal itself has is much lower than the estimated 80-100 ms.
How the hell did Burnout Paradise work as a demo for this game without being totally unplayable?
As someone who recently sampled many televisions and ultimately selected the one with the lowest input lag, I fear that the Natal input delay will drive me nuts.
The input delay on my TV is about 15-30 ms. Most I tested were between 60-90 ms and the delay was very noticeable to me.
@Christian The smart people at Nintendo who figured customers would rather pay $20 for this instead of $45. As an added bonus, it also requires less batteries.
Regardless of whether or not Clover is any good (I haven't tried it), the man has a point. Top-selling games selling in the low five-figures on a platform with an audience of 20+ million is beyond abysmal.
There's only so much the developers can do to promote games without investing a lot of money (remember, these are low-budget INDIE games). Microsoft needs to do more with their 30% to promote the platform.
At any time during the event (or shortly thereafter) you can press right on the dpad to bring up Easy Drive, select "Restart Current/Last Event" and press right again, and then I believe select "Now" and press right again.
The loading time seems to be very short as well (maybe 2 seconds).
Yes, restarts are included so all you whiners can stop complaining. They are unnecessary anyway as another event is never more than an intersection away, but whatever.
