Sony sucks for this. Here is a question though. Is it just the matter of a plug missing off the board or will it be a type of controller chip missing too? Cuz I'm sure I wouldn't be the first to mod the case and install a HDMI plug.

But to tell the truth I was one of Sony's biggest fan boys until they went stupid on this price. There is good chance this can make Blu-ray fail.(at least HD-DVD hopes so) I think it is far more important to win the format war. And have a huge install base among the masses.

My PS3 will go strait to ebay to recoup and buy another one. This is a bastard thing to do but heck I'm not rich. See Sony you made me a bastard. And I feel better knowing you get no money off my resale. eeerr well until I get another unit. Damn you.

PS. I did the same thing with my Xbox 360 :-P
