Sony's Yoshida 'very aware' of how much we hate firmware updates

If you're not just a baby you remember how your Sega was turned into a small battleship back in the days where you had to buy new hardware additions just to minutely upgrade the current gen system. Firmware updates gives us free new features and keeps us from shelling out big bucks for new stuff.
If you don't like it, perhaps you'd rather the 360 come out with the 360u for each dashboard update or PS3a for trophy support.

If you care about the testing which involves a keen eye and love of exploration you can really benefit a game. Plus you play a game all day, on breaks you play games against other gamers and when you get home you rest.
