See, that's just it. It's all proportionate to where our ancestors screwed. They screwed north, less sun, less pigment. Thew screwed south, more sun, more pigment. Thew screwed on an island, other dominant cosmetic characteristics arise. All where they screwed and settled down.

I just don't get it. It's such a stupid thing to take seriously (both from an "I hate X" and "I'm proud I'm X" perspective). People need to put more emphasis on the shit they can control, the shit they actually choose to do, rather than just some damn irrelevant crap that is just a circumstance of birth.

Yes, that could be the case. Or, it could also be that SEGA has their own expectations as to what they find to be acceptable sales numbers for a given title. We don't know one way or another.

Making a claim either way is bullshit because we, and game writers, are not SEGA and without any direct information from SEGA on what they expect, one way or anther, we are just masturbating.

You don't need to contact SEGA, as their VP of marketing (Sean Ratcliffe) has already commented on the Conduit's week 1 sales:

"Though it is still early days in the retail life of the game, we are seeing very strong week one sales and being the best shooter on the Wii means that we think we will see this game out there and selling well for a long time."
