i dont doubt if live being down would have anything to do with this since no update was installed but i just got the rrod for the first time last night. i have the limited edition halo 360 and am somewhat happy it happened now since my warranty expires in a few days, but do you guys know if they will send me back the same halo console or just one of the normal premium ones?

my guess is that you dont automatically get the weapon. it is just hidden in somewhere, perhaps the dungeon, and you have to find it or acquire it somehow

well it also introduces you to the ea IQ or whatever they call it and I found it very interesting they was they have the game a.i. that is tailored to you skill set. I would like to see this implemented in their other games as well

is it really up to MS how much this game costs?

yeah specific titles that are on both the Pc and the 360, its not like they just chose random titles. The game developers have a say in whether their game will be free on live or not. It is MS's platform and service and they charge for it.

why would you cancel your account? unless you only play those three titles online you would still need a gold account to play any other game. So this doesn't effect MS shareholders at all.

i didnt know they did that for scratched disks. i thought the replacement plan was just for the instruments.
