ps1 launched with toshinden, a 3d fighter. That's pretty 3d to me. go check out when n64 was launch. Mario64 was 1st true 3d platformer. the true 3d in console is nintendo's fx chip in certain games. But, the ps was the 1st to offer arcade quality 3D graphics. Both 32x and saturn had botched 3d capability as their systems were optimised for 2d.

personally I found his lordship's keynote rather dull with the exception of the mario galaxy trailer.
