Latitude is an application on top of Google Maps. If that feature is disabled, it has nothing to do with the Android platform. Just because the OS is an open platform doesn't mean all the apps will be.

Can anybody estimate which size this is? The post says that the 17-inch Pro may not be getting this make-over. But, while I write this on my 17-inch Pro, I find it hard to believe that one in the pick is a 15. The keyboard would have to be tiny.
