How Apple iBooks could compete with Amazon's Kindle in the ebook space (Updated)
May 25th 2011 2:40PM (TUAW.com)Most of my stuff from Fictionwise is either completely free or I got it from their monthly promotions where they give away certain books for free. I'm not sure if DRM'd ePub files from other ebook stores would work, though.
Mainly I just wanted to point out that you should be able to put some of your Fictionwise books into iTunes/iBooks.

Preview: PlayStation Home pg2
Sep 21st 2008 8:49PM (Joystiq Playstation)My kids and all their friends have Xbox 360's. I have a PS3 because its cool, plays Blueray movies, and I can keep them off of MY gaming system. However, that means I basically have no PS3 friends. I'm looking forward to Home as a way to interact with people on a slightly more personal level than just randomly playing someone on GHIII or ATV vs. MX or whatever and having NO idea who the person is.
This is an ambitous project that is truly revolutionary in nature and will evolve into a great social networking tool, far beyond MySpace and Facebook. Yes, its realeased late and yes, it will have features missing that we all want, but I believe someday it will evolve to greatness.
I don't even mind paying a few dollars here and there for some cool functionality. I really, really hope that at some point Sony opens up sharing streaming music, movies, picture slideshows, and even sharing online mini-games. I'd pay a small amount for those features and I think others would once the platform games momentum.
