@FriedConsole This is a big deal because many people (like me) have older HDTVs and Receivers/Sound Systems that use component cables instead of HDMI, and don't have the money to afford a new TV and/or Receiver.

By doing this, they're screwing their legitimate customers out of the ability to use their product how they choose. And for what? Do you think anyone that's ripping BluRay discs seriously records it over an analog connection rather than just doing it digitally on a computer in a fraction of the time?

I get it. This is supposed to help stop pirating. But it doesn't. It just creates more frustration for legitimate customers. Not cool, sony!

It doesn't matter that Amnesia is 1.01GB, because you're not downloading any of the files. You're not streaming that content to your computer you're streaming a VIDEO of that content being played somewhere else. In this regard, the bandwidth usage on onlive wouldn't be much different than watching something on netflix.
