Nice move Joystiq. I hope others follow your example. Day-one patch or not, I don't see how anyone can write a thorough pre-launch MP review for any game. Playing with a handful of journalists (or even developers) on a partially filled server isn't the same as playing with the public on a full server. I'd actually prefer to see separate SP and MP scores as well.

I'm definitely not a Poison fan...but for some reason I'm really excited about playing these tracks. Rock Band is funny that way. Now bring on some more Def Leppard so we can get this 80s party started!

The Johnny Cash pack is totally worth it, especially at this price. I just wish the second Roy Orbison pack was on sale.

My girlfriend enjoys some Dance Central every now and then. But other than that my Kinect sits in a lonely, dusty place, not far from my equally neglected Wii.

Yeah, I guess you're right. BF2 was wildly successful without an SP campaign...but that was 6 years ago. Times have certainly changed. While I feel most PC gamers would still be fine with an MP-only offering, I have a feeling a large portion of the console crowd would balk at a game without an SP campaign-even if it only takes them 4 hours to complete it. It's hard for me to wrap my head around the concept, but there are gamers who never even play FPS games online...my friend is one of them. So I can see the need to go after that demographic. I just wonder how large that demographic really is?

Patrick Bach has already said "a great short campaign rather than a good long campaign." So take what you will from that.

How many of you would buy BF3 if it didn't have a SP campaign? Would reviewers trash it for the omission? It's almost like DICE feels obligated to throw-in a SP campaign. Don't get me wrong...it looks fantastic. But it's not the reason I'm interested in this game.
