With SSB, it's "It doesn't really matter how many times you beat the other person, the only real objective is to cause them to not be able to get back on to the platform, but oh, half of the fighters can sorta fly, so have fun. Oh, and most of the stages will probably kill you too."
Sure, there's strategy involved, but SSB really needs you to decide to commit to learn its system since the fighters are so ridiculously unbalanced. It is seriously the most unfun game to pick up that Nintendo makes.
