I am glad the numbers were up that much but at least post the numbers for the other consoles to put it in perspective. 360 sold 1.26 Million and Wii 1.35 Million so lets not go aroun dtooting our horns just yet.

Nick would you please stop posting stuff about price drops every other day. I am sick of hearing about it everytime anything is mentioned about production it always has to be "Does this mean a price drop??? huh?? does it??" They wont drop the price until they are at least making a profit which is a ways off.

I am glad to hear that %75 sold out but lets not start gloating yet. Obviously you are going to sell more consoles if there are enough for everyone to buy. The 360 was in short supply for months so you cant really compare the two without sounding like a moron.

Ok clue me in as to why this would be even need to be posted on PS3fanboy? We want to compare our games to the last gen now so we can feel better???

I want to defend the PS3 as well but lets not be blind about it. Comparing systems games by their metarating is just plain stupid. Just because they dont have more games over 90 why are they still selling like hotcakes? GoW, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Crackdown, etc? Ratings mean nothing if the game sells, look at the attach rate the 360 has. When we get more good selling games for the PS3 I think we will be able to claw into that lead but you cant say we just need one game to be even.

Why would I pay for something that got boring in 15min on the PC???

It is amazing how much arguing goes on at this site compared to some of the other fanboy sites I have been to before. But we have to take it because our console is the most expensive and way overhyped by Sony so what do u expect? I like the system for certain reasons and disike it for others but every system is like that.

Now about this oblivion thing I dont understand why everyone is saying "Mine is better blah blah" The fact is that it looks great on both systems. If the 360 version came out a year later it would be th eone looking better but besides that the 360 version is getting the most of the updated graphics through xbox live updates so it will look better as well. Just enjoy the game and stop arguing over whos looks better!

#17 I agree that it is a good deal if you are intrested in the BD player as well but I have not used mine to play a BD yet except for the included one. I just like color of HDdvd better. But that aside I wish we would all stop trying to rationalize the price. They will not lower it if everyone keeps arguing FOR them that its a deal! I can go buy a Corvette Z06 for $80,000 and beat most cars that cost $200,000. Does that make it a deal for the money? Yeah but I still dont have $80,000 to spend on a car so it doesnt matter. I know a lot of people around me that may want a PS3 but they either got a 360 or nothing and will be waiting for the price to drop and I know for sure one of them gets on here sometimes and has said they get pissed off when people defend the skyhigh price for including stuff he doesnt want.

I was hyped for the PS3 since it was announced even though all the bed press put a salty taste in my mouth sometimes. I must admit though that the drastic decrease in demand is a bad omen for all of us. I was at best buy last week and they were getting a shipment of Wii's in the next morning and there were at least 30 people with tents outside ready to stay the night to get one. I went back the next morning and there were 2 PS3s sitting there the manager said they had been there since they opened. I picked up another controller and when checking out I was behind two people buying 360s. Then to top it all off there were 3 people waiting to play the 360 and the ps3 was turned off!! I asked the manager wtf? and he said the BD drive was screwed up and they were waiting for a replacment demo unit. All in all I am getting less optamistic that it will make it.
