I have the Wii, PS3 and 360. Between my kids and myself, the 360 is played 75% of the time, the PS3 5% and the rest (20%) the kids play the Wii (I play rarely).

The PS3 is abysmal for obvious reasons (price and crappy software and NO, Home will not save the PS3!).

The Wii IMO is a kids/adult fad system. The 360 has MUCH better games and of course, LIVE! Nintendo has in the past and is currently treating online as an after-thought, BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Both my kids use Club Penguin. And, like everything else, it's up to the parents to monitor it's use. Yes, CP does a pretty good job of trying to keep things clean, but noone or no company can achieve 100%. Parents need and should be vigilant. Most people forget to use one important feature today, COMMON SENSE!!!

COUNT ME IN!!! I'll be waiting in line with my just received repaired 360! Give me HDMI, 120 Gig HD and (I Hope) built in HD DVD!! If MS does this by the time PS3 goes live in Europe, MS will truly kick the POS3's arse! There would be NO reason to get a PS3. By the way, I had a PS3 for 3 weeks and returned it. No rumble, USB tether for charging (negates wireless), NO GAMES (resiance was OK, but not gears, not even close to Halo) and Blu-ray did not blow me away. My DVD's playing on my HD DVD looked just as good. I really hope MS does this now 360!

I have a 360 and 3 computers on my wired/wireless (Linksys a/b/g and N) network.

The Wii seems very slow at downloading updates, etc. It's only 12 feet away from the router! Seems the internal antenna on the Wii is lacking! Would be nice to know what kind of speed the Wii is getting while connected? Is there any setting on the Wii to see download speed?

I have the Harmony 360 remote and LOVE it. Hook up to the USB, enter my devices, and done!

I press one button to play 360 or watch the HD DVD, and it turns on the 50" plasma, Pioneer 360 Home Theater and 360 and i am ready to go!

It's OK, but they killed it when you have to do a very long update. It should just update on it's own. Still, everything pales in comparison to Xbox Live, which Nintendo will never have, which means this will console will always be a nice to have, not need like the 360 or POS3.

In a reply above, let this be a lesson to Sony and all others, don't force a new format on us and overprice the system to $600+!!! We want a gaming console first, everything else is second!

The 360 is the sweet spot right now, and if MS was smart, remove the core and drop the premium down $50, and very few would buy the POS3. I "used to have" a POS3. After 4 weeks, I sold it on ebay and broke even. The online interface sucks and there are no games. Resistance is OK, but GoW is just SO MUCH BETTER!!

In conclusion, let the ship sink, it serves us a greater good!!!

AWESOME!!! Thx for the heads up! Bought two (now I'll have 4)! The best price I saw was Circuit City at $39 each. This blows that away! Will post on Anandtech Hot deals!
