After watching my rooster hat wearing 5 and 6 year olds run around the house pretending to be Maxwell I'm thinking they need to make a cartoon based on the game.

Went to best buy in Murfreesboro TN at 11am to pick up the game for my sis. They had about 30+ boxes for the 360 and PS3. Went back up to Best buy 2 1/2 hours later after my wife saw the box and told me to get my ass back up there and get us a copy. The 360's were all gone and there were about 20 boxes for the PS3. Have been unable to find any 360 versions in my area. Bummer.

His parents should get him a PS3. I can see it now. Mom unplugs his PS3 during a game of Lair and he says, "Your the best mom ever." Family dysfunction averted.

Picked mine up 1 week ago for $125 at Sam's Club. Enjoying the HDDVD so far.

Yes the 360 is selling well. I just think it's probably not selling as well as Microsoft wished. The 100 dollar gift card at TRU is not a good sign.
If the 360 was selling like hotcakes there would be no gift card offer. It's supply and demand. No need to tempt the customer if they were already buying all them.

I'm guessing Microsoft doesn't have much to talk about. I know they've corrected their supply problems from last year, but it's disturbing to walk into 4 different stores 1 week before Christmas and see stacks of X360s. I wonder how well the X360 is really selling. I love mine and just convinced my brother to buy one, but is anyone else buying them.

Somebody started a thread on Cheap Ass gamer that TRU will be giving a 100 dollar gift card with the purchase of a X360 premium system starting 12/17. Anybody hear of this deal or is it an internet rumor.

Plus Microsoft is banking on the last generation to repaeat its self. 3rd party developers are not going to put the extra effort to squeeze any advantages the PS3 has. All multi platform games are going to need a hardcore gamer to tell the difference. With the cost of making games going up I think the days of 3rd party exclusives are over.
