May 10th 2006 1:58PM (Joystiq)I personally think it would be great for more games to be in locations other than the US. I live in the US and I see our uncultured, blah buildings with no real history everyday - to be able to escape to locations around the globe that I could never afford to go to in real life would be awesome. Admittedly, there are many games that are located in other countries, but these usually seem to be based on the past (prince of persia, samurai games, etc...) Locations I would like to play in (other than US):
Paris
London
Germany
Japan
China
Korea
Australia (outback would be cool)
There are some games that offer some of these locals set in present day (the getaway, ninja gaiden, dreamfall - i think).

that's gonna take a little longer not to sound bad"
Ah, yes - use the nunchuku to direct the stream of the golden shower. :-)

May 10th 2006 1:30AM (Joystiq)I see your point here - I was assuming that since xbox1 could do it, then it must be easy for the slightly more powerful wii to do it too. Like Darth Pixel, I am concerned about the image quality of 480p on the HDTV - but I see now that it does indeed support widescreen so that is good. I sold my raft (old tv) and all my oars (old videogames and systems) to get my canoe :-) so I was just hoping that they might add support for it at the last minute. But if it would make it cost more, then I guess I'm against it - I'll be happy with widescreen support (I already spent $400+ for a 360, games, and accessories so I'll just have to be happy with that for my HD system).
Anyway, I agree that the fanboys get a little crazy here - I would normally be getting all three except for the price on the PS3 and my HD set doesn't do HDCP. How did you know so may joystiqers use firefox (i do too btw)? I couldn't live without tabs.
