It's not a fad, go to bestbuy as I told the other guy and put on the glasses and see for yourself. I too thought it was going to be a fad/corny. The only reason why I didn't buy the LED 55 inch was best of the glasses, the salesman told me the 3D-Ready TV's in about 2 years won't require glasses thus far making the experience more enjoyable.
I strongly recommend anyone to go down to bestbuy and look for yourself.
DT's aren't exciting players for the average joe. The average joe doesn't understand what DT's do or what DE's do. They just watch the game hope they sack the QB. That's why with NFL cards, your QB's, RB's & WR's sell the best because most people hear of them because they score Touchdowns. If you look at the pattern since NCAA 2000, it was Ricky Williams - Tim Tebow. There hasn't been 1 Defender on a NCAA cover since 1999 (Charles Woodson) whom was an exciting player maker. All of the NCAA games since 1998 have been Qb's, RB's & WR's.
I'm proud of you Tim, I never would have thought you would have been considered one of the greatest college football players and on a cover of a game I've been playing since I was a child. I wish you well in college and exceeded my and our teams expectations. I know you better then most people because I watched you grow. I watched you take over a 2-8 high school football team to a state championship and was dedicated in getting us there. I watched you go onto college when everyone doubted you saying " You won't be able to truck college LB's & SS's " and you ran 20 TD's in 1 season as a QB.
I still can't believe you're on the cover of the NCAA 11.
Why do so many people hate gamestop? I'm very good friends with the store manager there. I'm always getting pre-order information, if I don't pre-order he'll just give me the item for free. When I go in there I'm always welcomed, helped and informed. I don't get why people hate on gamestop so much over the years.
I agree with your statement. I do believe he's attacking EA because his dreams of the NFL went sour and realized he had 1 shot at making money before earning. If you think about it, none of these NFL rookies deserve their salaries and that's while they're going to have a rookie cap. When Suh goes in the 1st round, you can expect him to have 40 million guaranteed before he does ANYTHING. His overall contract might be $72 million and $40 million (upfront) without playing a down.
Even if you go in the 3rd round and get $600 guaranteed, it's better then 0. I do feel that's why Keller is attacking EA because for his quick buck.
@ sonicspike41 - you're kidding me right? They used the guys height, weight and that's about it. They don't use STATS, if you ever go backwards their stats aren't there. Even if they use stats (say Drew Brees), they say, #9 from Purdue. I see nothing wrong with this and if Keller had this much of an issue about EA taking his number, weight, height and skin color. He should have never played NCAA FOOTBALL, because that belongs to the school and the NCAA.
Then Keller went on to COMPLAIN about how you can use the EA Locker to download rosters which is false. Someone has to literally waster their LIFE for 2-3 days and go to every single player in the game and post that roster on the EA Locker. How is that EA's fault? Keller was a garbage QB and couldn't strike gold in the NFL. He's trying to sue a company for not getting royalties because of his characteristics?
If you played Madden 10 vs NCAA 10, most of the players (5 black skins & White Skins) for faces usually look the same for the NCAA game. They don't go that in-depth with the faces, because Tim Tebow doesn't truly exist in the game. They just make a white man, around his height & weight, while making him look pretty with wrist bands, eye paint and etc. When you go onto Madden 10, Eli Manning looks l ike Eli Manning. When you see Jay Cutler, he looks like JAY CUTLER (even with the mole on his face). When you see Cutler throw, it has Cutlers throwing motion to the tee along with 32 other QB's throwing motions designed for their authenticity. These players are not allowed to make any money while playing college football and I'm sure if they were EA sports would pay for the names and etc to give you more of an authentic feeling to the game.
Look at the Pats Head Coach, he's called " NE Head Coach ". While Jack Del Rio looks like JACK DEL RIo. The character of bill belichick looks nothing like him. He's a wait dude with black hair. It's the same way for the college games, they just take a white guy, slap on a #15 to give you an illusion of Tim Tebow for the Gators. It's the people from pastapadre that take it to the extra mile and give the players names, true idenity and etc. IMO, SAM KELLER was a nobody really in college and is fighting for money that didn't earn.
GET OVER IT!!!!! They never used your FACE or Name. Why is it bothering your that they used your number (which is school property & NCAA Property). Why is it bothering you that they used your height & weight, it's technically not you because you were listed QB # 5.
You bombed in the NFL and now you're in the wrong trying to sue EA. Also, it's not EA fault for people taking their time making players names and releasing them online in the locker-room. I would worry about getting a career then suing a company in the right.
