Takeuchi talks Resident Evil 5, confirms African setting

You guys do realize that he's just talking about "light and darkness" because Chris' eyes have to adjust whenever he steps out of a dark place into a bright place or vice versa, right? It's nothing to do with race. It's just literally about light and darkness.

EA to Fox News: 'correct the record' on Mass Effect

Raise your hand if you think Fox will even acknowledge the possibility that they may have misrepresented things.

No? No one? Yeah, me neither.

Actually, he does have a radio show and has a syndicated column that shows up in some newspapers. So he's not just a random guy on the internet writing on his blog.

You're not getting lag? How?

I have the EyeTV Hybrid, but I use it mostly for watching and recording TV. I plugged in my Wii and found that it played with significant lag (enough so that it's impossible to hit anything fast moving in Metroid Prime: Corruption). My computer is a 1.8 Ghz Intel Core Duo iMac, so I don't think it's computer speed that's the problem. I may have to try again now that I've read so many other people saying they've experienced no lag, though. Still, this has me very confused. Even when off a fresh reboot with no other programs running, I still got very noticeable lag on my Wii games.

At #18 - "People seem to forget the PSP still sells well in the US, even better than the DS most months. I wouldn't venture as to say why that is, but it's possible the all-in-one nature helps its appeal."

Very true. However, PSP games sell terribly in comparison. It seems that most people who buy a PSP are doing it to play movies or music from their computer. And that's great except Sony is losing on every PSP sold.

I'm sorry, but you guys sounded so clueless about the PS3 controller that it was painful.

Someone said that the internal sensors would have advantages and disadvantages over the Wii controller? What advantages would those be exactly? As far as I can tell, the Wii controller can do everything in terms of motion sensing that the PS3 controller could do and more.

And then someone else said that now games for Wii can be ported to the PS3? Did you kind of miss the whole "detecting position in space" thing the Wii has going on here?

I'm trying not to sound like a fanboy here, but it seems to me that in your efforts to be as neutral as possible you ended up choking out piles of bullshit in order to avoid bashing the PS3 too hard.
