@Gritzor

Even if the game didn't suck to begin with, I'm not sure it deserves to have a song about the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Vallens, and the Big Bopper pay homage to it. I guess it is just a parody and I’m probably being melodramatic. But the guy who originally wrote that song was seriously affected by their deaths when he was a kid and he cried when he sang it. I don’t think this guy meant offense by this parody, but I think a case can be made that this is a little disrespectful.

@Misguided Terran

Congradulations on making Mortal Kombat fans sound like they're members of the Mickey Mouse Club.

I think that's Jonny Cage, but don't quote me on that. I'm not a Planeteer either.

Visceral Games hears disabled gamer, adding customizable controls to Dead Space 2

@Sordid State of Eclairs

I have the same disease that Joker from Mass Effect has.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteogenesis_Imperfecta#Society_and_culture

It seems to me that having a disability leads to developments in the brain that might not usually used. Sort of like how they say that blind people hear better. Or how Joker is this prodigious pilot but can't walk. Or using your chin to play video games.

It may be coincidence, but I ended up with a fast brain. Almost too fast. Lots of people couldn't understand me when I was a kid. I can say all fifty states in fifteen seconds, and that' how I used to talk when I was excited about something, which was always because I'm easily excitable. So, what I did was I spent most of my time playing video games, learning to write and perform music. And I think I ended up being able to do things that most wouldn't normally be able to do despite not being able to some things that I'd like to be able to do.

Regarding your point about being 'put in your place' for the trivial things you complain about, everybody complains about trivial nonsense. But it's good to understand how spoiled we are.

One of the perks of having OI was going twice a week to physical therapy because I was able to leave school really early on those days. I saw a lot of kids going there whose mobility problems were much worse than mine and I think some of them may have had conditions where they probably didn't live a whole lot longer, but when something like that happens to you at a young age or you're born with it, the same mechanisms behind the development of the brain that help kids learn at a higher rate than adults makes it easier for them to adapt to problems as well and cope with them.

What I can say about all those kids in the physical therapy class that I met was that they were just normal kids, every single one of them. They weren’t wallowing away in self pity. They were just being kids. Most people have a really high capacity for endurance and bravery, but they aren't aware of it because they haven't been put in a position to understand what they're really made of.

Jack Kevorkian likes Justin Beiber!? Ahhhh... Because his music brings in more buisness!

I realize it's hypocritical of me to make fun of him after what I just wrote. But the setup for that was just too obvious and if I didn't say it, someone else would have...
