Dungeon Defenders on Mac, Eternia Shards Part 2 arrive March 15

Mar 9th 2012 4:08PM (Joystiq)
Best $5 I've spent on Steam in a long time. Now I just wonder if it'll be "SteamPlay" compatible and I'll get the Mac version for free. Playing it via Parallels is getting a little old.

SSX online pass doesn't lock out multiplayer

Jan 31st 2012 1:54PM (Joystiq)
Is this an online pass for additional content even if you buy it new (ala CoD Elite), or a "you bought it used, please pay us another $10" online pass?

Honest question, hadn't heard about an online pass with this game.

How to block ads on the Xbox 360 Dashboard

Dec 9th 2011 2:31PM (Joystiq)
@Nirvash Planeteer Power of Capt
Correct. You're probably not old enough to remember, but cable TV used to be really limited with ads. Only one or two per time slot. The idea was indeed that paying customers should have less ads.

Clearly it's asking for a lot... but shouldn't "GAMES" be the FIRST menu item? Not the 6th. That seem stupid to anyone else?

Just a guess. It's not very descriptive.

What on earth is that supposed to mean? They're fake Irish? Clearly you've never been to New England.

Battlefield 3 to have dedicated servers, leading on PC

Feb 8th 2011 12:58PM (Joystiq)
@Jack Kevorkian
I think they mean dedicated servers like BC2. People could run their own but there were also EA run servers as well. I'll agree that most of the EA servers were lag-fests, but most privately run servers I played on were just fine. The only thing that always worries me is the "server browser" which has always been terrible. Small price to pay.

Rumor: Battlefield 3 Limited Edition to include 'Back to Karkand' DLC

Feb 7th 2011 11:01AM (Joystiq)
I hate to sound my age, but I'd rather go old school and have some classic maps. I'd love to see Berlin, Bocage and El Alamein. Karkand was fun, but some of the BF42 maps were epic.

'Oregon Trail' and 'Carmen Sandiego' coming to Facebook in Feb.

@BrokenTriforce

1000% agreed.

Not to mention, those look terrible. Way to ruin my childhood!

Here's a minute and a half of Dead Space Aftermath

Jan 7th 2011 5:01PM (Joystiq)
You know, having to watch a Crest commercial, followed by a huge "Home...Something" overlay at the bottom kinda makes me not really want to watch videos here any more.
