maybe we can take a chanse to look and "play beyond" passive rumble here.
i'm not saying taking it out was a plus, but maybe there's something better. sometihnhg that would go well with the six access motion sensing. like gyroscopic force feedback, or perhaps an "electro"duelshock controller.

without sony support, any hope for 3rd party accessory support will be slim at best. like the logitech steering wheel support for gran turismo. but not much after that. wouldn't be cost effective.

if the kid is old enough to tell the diff from this and a PsWii60 than maybe this is not the best buy. but for younger kids 3-6 i would be all over this as a parent. i learned quite a bit from educational games on an apple 2e when i was that age, (even a little programing) and it was probably a lot better for me than the NES consoles my friends we're wasting their time with.

.. but Lumines live gives players choice! just like the hdd and the hd-dvd drive for 360, consumers can find value in content that comes how they want it with out frills they won't need. just expect to pay more for the total package

*snif* i miss my game gear. when i was a kid all my game boy playin friends could only sit and wish they could play with color. praise the lord for the rechargeable battery pack though, otherwise my parents would have chucked it over raw power usage.

can't wait to see where the psp redesign sits on this list. psp power with (hopefully)DS size!

amen to that and about time. i almost fell for it once, but even a close look at the pictures on the ebay listing could show it was fake. i was pissed it had gone on for so long but now i hope sony and the japanese government give him the stick,... the phat one

if it was photoshoped, then why are they saying the "presentation" was wrong?

i wish a little more hype was put into FOM early early on (like 05 early). i had the wrong idea about this game untill i saw video and screenshots.

Blu-Ray vs. DVD9 is like any hand weapon, it's only as potent as the warrior wielding it and the situation in which it's used.

if you want your high def PS3 connection, do what i do, go to ebay and buy a $10 HDMI cord.

i bought the componet cables for my ps2 so i'm already covered. (and those cables were worth every penny, even on ps2. 1080i GT4 and 480P rachet and clank) but,

HDMI is totaly digital unlike componet, there is no image quality difference between the 5-10 ebay cord and the $80 monster cable as long as it works. maybe a little bit on durablity and thickness, but i would still rather buy 2-3 cheap cords that still cost me a net $50 less and deliver the same image.
if sony had included HMDI cables to the system it would hae cost them at least $20-$30 per with sony wuality standerds and thats too much to ask for something only a fraction of PS3 owners need/want right now.

XL, drop your estimate about $50. if you're spending 770 on a game console / BD player, you should have done your reasearch. or at the very least have trained staff (at best buy, ckt city, etc....) selling you the right accessories.

mixed feelings about 7, while lately iv'e been turning vibration off in my ps2 games so see if i really miss it, the only one where i seem to do was in NFS MW when driving over rough terrain. aside from that, i wasn't all too hurt.
i still think it's stupid it's not in the sixaxis, i never believe in going backwards, but i can survive without.
