@swooded Kinect has a fairly large amount of publicity, and is expected to be a hot item this holiday. In fact, Amazon has sold out of them already. I wouldn't expect any real deals on them until next year, maybe.

You can play a lot more than just Zork on your Kindle. There's a Javascript app called "Parchment" that lets you play interactive fiction in a web browser, and it works with the Kindle's.

@(Unverified) You don't have to do the missions. You can just fool around without worrying about anything as much as you like, and as long as you save it your progress will carry forward whenever you feel like doing the missions in a new game.

@McWeen Unfortunately, that's the cover for one of the PC Engine titles, which, while not brilliant, were at least pretty decent games. The PlayStation title that's going to be released here, on the other hand, is unrelentingly terrible.
