Sony extends identity-theft protection registration through July

@Lnds500
I thought that countries like England and France already have similar programs from Sony. Not all European countries, though. Nothing for Australia either (we're lumped in with Europe).

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD trailers are too pretty, too soon

@derdaim

I'm the opposite. I thought the increased framerate made the colossi seem more realistic, more "there". The lower framerate serves to distance the player from the action. The smoother appearance and movement of the colossi seems more involving to me. I'm going to love these HD remakes.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD trailers are too pretty, too soon

@Theguyoverthere

It's one thing to briefly see the colossi in a trailer. It's quite another to actually fight them. I remember battling for 2 hours against one of them, desperately trying to figure out where its weak points were, and how to get to them, while also trying to stay alive. It was such an epic fight!

Believe me, the trailer didn't show anything that was hard to figure out about the colossi.

Limbo rating sought by Sony in Korea, could be PSN-bound

Same here ... fingers crossed.

Now, if the same could also happen for Super Meat Boy, then I'd be a completely happy ps3 gamer.

Portal short film imagines Chell's life on the outside

Yep, the back scratching scene made me laugh. And, as if I needed more, added another reason why I'd love to own my own portal device.

Smithsonian 'Art of Video Games' winners announced

Nothing wrong with having BrĂ¼tal Legend on the list. I thought it was very creative. The world and the characters were wonderfully realised. Nobody can argue that the soundtrack trumps any other game in existence. Sure, the gameplay wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the game, but it was still pretty fun to play.

Explodemon detonates Feb. 8 on PSN for $10

It'd be nice if they could also create a game called "Super Flesh Person". The PSN is sorely lacking it.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time HD on PSN today

@squallgengar
You could probably buy it from the markets in Malaysia. Maybe ben and his "frat bros" were so drunk, they mistook it for Europe.

Although it'd almost certainly fail to play when you get back home. Part of the Malaysian experience, I guess.

Probably because this version is HD, and the Gamecube ain't. Just a guess.

Psychonauts 2: Tim Schafer is 'ready to do it'

Nov 11th 2010 9:56PM (Joystiq)
Maybe they can do a HD remake of Psychonauts, and use the money made from that to fund the next version. Just as long as they do a better job than the PS2 version. Sound issues, freezing, save game problems ... it was a horrible port.
