O.k First Off if you already own a ps3 regardless if it is the first version or the slim version you are at least party ready for 3-D. Second Some Mitsubishi T.Vs and Samsung t.vs Like myself luckily bought without even knowing it was 3-D Capable until I did further research online. So I guess other than the New 3-D Content all I need are 3-D Glasses and I'm set or so I think :)

I strongly believe that the 3-D movemement will need much more than AVATAR to make the transition happen most americans are just now barely grasping HDTV. I feel that NEW VIDEO GAMES would be KEY you would have everyone talking about the experience now being boring in regular 2-D and Over excited about 3-D Gaming. I feel that 3-D nor then or Now will ever go mainstream in the home.

One thing I also never hear anyone mentioning is Screen size! what makes IMAX 3-D look so amazing is that the screen pretty much covers all your field of view making the 3-D immersive. If you have a 50 or even 65" T.V and are watching at recommended distance, the picture will only cover approximately 60 to 65% of your field of view making the 3-D immersion somewhat limited to that view. Anyhow as much as I am dying to play games in 3-D and watching Movies in 3-D in my living room or Movie Room I don't see this catching on. I'm just being realistic. Most people WILL NOT specially in this economy invest in a new t.v set and 3-d capable blu ray players just to experience few movies. Not unless they come out with 3-D technology that doesn't require glasses and that is affordable, like maybe 10 years from now.

I own all game systems in existence since coleco. And I own 3 xbox 360's 2 are wireless and one is wired. I've had to return for repairs 3 times 2 different 360's my elite is the only one still working since day one and my ps3 is the very original one and I play online everyday their servers aren't perfect like 360 but FREE! after this year MICROSOFT will not be getting my $60.00 buck per system for Gold. I use netflix but NOW I HAVE "PLAY ON" and can get NETFLIX and HULU on PS3!

MICROSOFT PLEASE BRING NEW SLIM 360 with Built in wi-fi and Blu-ray for $299.00 I predict by 2010 PS3 will be king again.............The only thing that might change that is XBOX "NATAL" vs PS3 WAND and Crystal Ball.

Hey Guys I think we are all getting off subject. How about more important questions like PRICING?? Isn't that the most important? What good is it that the bike performs well, and that the darn equipment operates correctly at 80mph? Haven't either on of you ridden a bike??? Who the hell rides at 80 mph???? You need a prius for that! I sure as hell hope that 80 mph is not its top speed otherwise I'd just go get an electric scooter for 2,000 dollars and DUCK TAPE A FREAKING iPhone to its dashboard with some application some dude with nothing else to do cooks up on his macbook somewhere. So All I'm saying is let us try to stay on the subject and ask the more relevant questions, such as PRICE, RANGE, RELEASE DATE. Wouldn't you all agree?

I believe the PS store needs more FREE DEMOS a la XBOX LIVE. XBOX LIVE has gotten me to buy more Mini Apps than I would have ever imagined just for the fact that the demo leaves you wanting more. Although after you download the full game you only play it for a couple of days or so but their Mission is Accomplished. Sony's PS Store should learn from that aspect. I believe the PS Store looks more like the revamped 360 Marketplace. Bring HD STREAMING and I'll visit the PS Store more often.

I know everyone must kiss ass just to try to win but I can sincerely say engadget makes my day so much more enjoyable after reading their rss feed. :)

I don't care whch Item I win if I win because I've never really won anything before I don't expect to win today :) But it would be totally awesome if I did.

I have both hd-dvd and using my ps3 as blu-ray player and I believe that until all Movie Studios jump on only one wagon We'll see then a true winner. Visually they both are great truly the same. Plus even though blu-ray is always bragging about capacity a good example is the new released Planet Earth it is available on both Blu-ray and HD-DVD and in both formats it still uses the same exact amount of disks :) so think about that one If blu-ray was superior then shouldn't we atleast see like a 4 disk series vs a 6-disk on HD-DVD???? So video quality and Audio quality are exactly the same, it just depends on the movie you are watching. The only good thing is that both Formats continue to drop in price and Hopefully by christmas of 2008 we'll see a HUGE DROP in price like $99.99-$199.99 Because Broadcasting will ALL be in HIGH DEF making consumers jump on the HIGH DEF band wagon :) So please HD-DVD and BLU-RAY just shake hands and Lets all get along :)

Thanks to you guys I have just saved my self $500 bucks!!! thank you! I do have all the systems literally starting with a commodore 64 for those of you who know what that is. So I was going to be adding the Black Elite To my collection but not no more the bad new will be for my son who was looking forward to receiving my Original Premium Xbox 360 ! oh well it would have matched my black t.v and receiver but oh well I can just buy a case Mod and make it BLACK MYSELF with the $500! bucks I'm SAVING!!!!!!

I don't know what the big deal is on Wal-Mart getting a $300 dollar Cheap CHINESE MADE HD-DVD player. People who would just walk in to buy a regular dvd player, or perhaps are curious about hd-dvd player will think $300 is expensive anyways!!! We are talking about Wal-Mart Shoppers here! Majority of them won't even have an HD-DVD T>V !!! Not to be Rude but that is the reality. Now having said that just recently Circuit City had their Toshiba hd-dvd player for $299.99 PLUS 5! HD-DVD MOVIES! thats about $150 dollars worth of movies. Do your math, that means the HD-DVD player was really selling for $150.00 DOLLARS!!!! So I come back to the same conclusion the consumer who wants to buy HD-DVD whether it is HD-DVDs or Blu-Ray are going to do their homework! On another note Circuit City already sells a Toshiba Hd-dvd player for $399.99 NOW! with 5 free Movies and I could bet that by Christmas it will be $300 bucks! So even if the story was true the chinese player wouldn't come to the states until December anyhow or next year So why wait for a cheap player when you have a quality brand TOSHIBA (Inventor of the technology as well) selling them for that cheap also check online don't rely on Wal-Mart! O.k guys we all should know that sony has just announced a new camcorder that records 1080 they don't say whether it is 1080p or 1080i most likely it is 1080i and thats why they don't state it. But anyhow the camcorder will be including an outstanding 8 gb memory card! that allows for up to 4 hours of HD RECORDING TIME! So I don't think it would be to farfetched to imagine a redesigned PSP 2 with a built in Camera and 8gb Memory Card which by the way would be faster than an internal HDD or how about forget the UMD format and come in with MINI BLU-RAY MOVIES if DVD size disk hold 50 gb then mini's should be able to hold at least 12 gb alot more than you need for the resolution for the size of that screen! Hey I've always said if your going to dream might as well dream it BIG!!! Let me know what you guys think of my theories! thank you....
