Reminds me of FF6, when Sabin (the wrestler guy who's brother was the king) had to do fast input commands for his attacks to be effective.

Reminds me of Pierrot Le Fou from Cowboy Bebop sort of. It's that child-like, whimsical approach to combat.

Not true. At least, not easily true. Some old pc games just don't install properly, whether it be a 32 to 64-bit issue, or just old operating system architectures. Yes, I know you can run a VM and emulate the older system, but you have to have a higher-end machine to be able to do that, which not everybody has. Some older pc games are sadly more trouble to play then they're worth.

That looks like the "Bean" in downtown Chicago. It's a big mirror-surfaced bean shape. Very cool to walk up to & play around with.

Going to post the same thing. They need to fire every accountant at the place if they owed $18mil in dividends, but accidentall overpayed by $131 mil. Wow!

I never said X was a bad game. Dang, learn to read. I said the series is going downhill meaning each new game is worse than the last. Ignoring press reviews which has had scandals of publishers paying for better reviews and only looking at User ratings on Metacritic:

IX=8.8, X=8.7, XI=7.7, XII=7.7, XIII=8.2 and XIV=3.7

"User ratings" are average joes & janes like you and me. We the people are rating each game worse and worse in our satisfaction level (except for 13, which I can't explain other than it is just a very polarizing game and you either love it or hate. Personally I thought it was boooring and hated it). So w/ SE killing their own FF franchise, I worry for DQ in their hands.

I agree with your assessments whole-heartedly. I didn't find 10 bad, just not as good as 9. As stated, the series was NOT terrible immediately after 9, but rather it's been a gradual decline with 10 much better than 14 and an established pattern of each new game being worse than the last.

That said, if SE could take a phenomenal franchise and drive it into the ground w/ one mistake after another over more than a decade, I have little faith in their ability to handle the DQ franchise

IMHO, Square-Enix Killed their reputation w/ the messes that were Final Fantasy 10, X-2, 11, 12, 13 & 14. They drove a well-respected franchise far into the ground, getting worse IMO with each new iteration of the franchise, over that long of a time span (11 yrs since IX).

Until I hear of Level-5 (who made DQ8 & 9) or any other company for that matter as developer, I refuse to spend a penny on this game through either initial purchase price or "usage fees." Each new article about this game is just getting me less and less interested.
