Regulars grant 5, blues grant 15, epics grant more? I certainly don't remember that, but I suppose I've done more solves at 525 than I did from 100-max.
Don't make anything til you've hit 100 skill. It's tempting, but you'll need dozens of solves to hit max anyway.
There are no rogue items at all to be found, so I guess they have the dubious edge of being able to complete artifacts at will.
Once you've got the two fossil rares and are 525, leave all their fragments unsolved as that'll give you an advantage should Blizz patch in more items.
As a druid healer in i349 gear (woo Arch staff and ring) I still find it pretty difficult to heal any heroic with heavy party damage that happens more than once (ie. more often than I can use Tranquility). 5k healing every 10 seconds (with only 2.5k in the first 3 seconds) is not helpful, and Rejuv doesn't help when people are in immediate danger.
Algaloth is okay because there's plenty of time to bring everyone back up (provided the other healer is the one focusing on clearing debuffs), but stuff like Ashbury (Stay of Execution seems to be the only thing you can count on people to interrupt immediately, much to my chagrin) and Throngus can be a pain.
A lot of this is probably mitigated by not using the random dungeon tool, but it's definitely annoying.
I'm not sure if you've healed at 85, because what you wrote definitely doesn't work. In heroics it's more like:
1. Lifebloom on tank, refresh when necessary (let bloom if tank is really low) 2. OoC procs on Healing Touch/Regrowth for whoever's lowest 3. Rejuvenation + Swiftmend on spike damage 4. Wild Growth + Nourish on AoE 5. Rejuv + Nourish on really low targets 6. Lifebloom on everyone in Tree Form 7. Tranquility when everyone is really low
Lifebloom is 30% of my healing Rejuv 23% HT 17% Nouish 10% Swiftmend 7%
As a new Tauren druid, I have to say I am largely unimpressed by Garrosh's Horde, though a lot of my problems with it stem from the races in general. Seeing a Forsaken quest hub is enough to make my heart sink - they are generally outright evil, and the others can be just as bad.
If the sorts who rise to power under Garrosh are people like Krenna in Grizzly Hills, that's not a great vote of confidence.
As an aside, the new Stonetalon that everyone loves and seems to think shows Garrosh to be better than he was doesn't do much for me. For one, he threatens me without getting a full grasp of the situation, and though he condemns what happens he doesn't actually do anything - either for the grieving father/husband or the innocents murdered.
I hope they get world first on Heroic 25 Arthas and quit the game as a big middle finger to Blizz. I don't know why Blizz didn't have some GM watching them to step in when the ground started reappearing, and I don't think that a ban is fair when they chose secrecy over polished gameplay when they decided to withhold Arthas from the PTR.
In fact the whole PTR idea is pretty dumb. Get some internal beta testers who don't suck at the game.
Interrupts require the mob to begin casting first. Instead of just pulling the caster with the rest of the mobs, they would have to pull the pack, wait for the cast to start, then start the interrupt. It causes problems for people with latency issues and mobs with instant cast spells.
Protection started off very defensive-minded. It wasn't very fun, which is why it got so many toys for WotLK. Lowering the PvE damage of the class that does the least PvE damage is a bad idea no matter how you swing it, because it means more burden on the rest of the raid. To really solve this you need to stop ArP from being useful in PvP, as its the only stat that they don't use in PvE.

Nagrand was largely unaffected by the whole Dark Portal thing, which is part of why the Mag'har are free of corruption.
