@Lolthien You're not the only one. It only seems that way because the majority of gamers always get up in arms whenever someone dares to pick on their hobby in public.

Just checked the changes made to my main and found out she got the most unnecessary nerf of them all. Guess I'll pass.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 preview: Paradigm shift

@The Only Girl

The central plot itself wan't too bad, but the way the story unfolded didn't have any kind of cohesive structure until late in the game. Personally, I found the characters to be overly annoying and clichéd but I guess that's to be expected from a jrpg. I'll admit I enjoyed the battle system.

Almost everyone defending the game mentions linearity as its only flaw, but even if that were true, it's a huge one. If SE do implement exploration and more input from the player in the form of choice, the sequel will look very attractive.

Dresspheres weren't a bad thing. In fact, FFX-2 had one of the best battle/character progression systems in the series. Its hard to disagree that FFXIII DID have a lot of bad things going for it, though.

Battlefield 3's exciting 'Operation Metro' multiplayer, Frostbite 2 engine trailers

@MGTrey

Nothing's wrong with that. BF games have been delivering the most complete multiplayer experience out of military shooters for a while now. In fact, that's what they're widely recognized for, the earlier games having no single player campaign and all.

I'm like you, btw. If I ever get around to giving the SP a try, it will probably be months after the game comes out. Assuming I have had my fix of Conquest (hahaha, right).
