#4, we are not in 1080p era... I don't know anybody who actually played (games or videos) any 1080p contents.
In US, it will take us like another 2 years before HD (480p or 720p) will be common...

it's truly sad that E3 is the once a year event where these guys will ever be approached by any girls...

Sure, why not.. there are people who are willing to shell out $1000 just for the Blu-Ray Player. Comparing the all stuff you get with PS3 ($600) to just the standalone Blu-Ray Player ($999), it sounds very cheap but I don't really give a damn for the blu ray. I just wanna play some game. $600 or $500 is still too expensive...
I hope PS3 doesn't meet the same fate as what Neo Geo System (around $800) ended up with...

That's why Nintendo calls them a money maker...
"Shake the money maker!!!.. yeah.. shake them.. shake them... who cares what you are playing! any games you play.. you just need to shake.. we didn't even bother upgrade our system anyway.. just shake them and make us rich!.. and scream Wiiiiii~"

I'm sold if Wii will be the half the fun Nintendo promising their games will be. However, I really do hope there will be some standard way of playing new marios and Zelda.. I really don't wanna wave my arms around for 20 mins and get tired and never wanna play some of my favorite nintendo games just because of that...
It CAN be a great concept for new ways of playing games.. but just don't dive all your (nintendo) games into that B.S...
