clearly you didn't read my post before u responded to it. average franchise? fanboi? like i said i started up halo for the first time in months because of the new maps...am i a fan of he series you bet...fanboy? if not playing the game in over half a year doesnt mean anything then yea...ok im a fanboy. I play what my friends play because thats what makes games fun. do i like GoW? hell yea do i like R6, GRAW1 and 2? indeed...hell do i play UNO every once and a while for some laughs....u bet. Does that make me a fanboy towards all those games?

I was simply pointing out the obvious in my post...that, although it is your opnion that it is an "average" francise, my opnion, along with 98% of the rest of the gaming community is that it is indeed a well above average franchise. Halo had the SP bust lacked in the MP only cuz live wasnt around...yes Halo 2's SP blew but Bungie has insisted that they will make up for that...and look at Halo 2's MP. You have to be a complete idiot to call that average. Just about every review for every game since has compared it's MP options with Halo 2's and none have touched it...that is a fact that you can not deny, its not rabid fanboyism...the numbers speak for them self

average franchise? i guess if u consider a game thats almost 3 years old and has had over 250,000 unique players and over 500,000 games plaied in the last 24 hours average...then yes id have to agree with u /end scarsm

All you people that are crying, bungie aint sh*t, halo sucks, halo 3 is just halo 2, GoW looks 100x better...are all complete idiots.

First of all if you watch that HD video (the quality of which isnt even that great) you can instantly see its already twice as good looking as halo 2 MP maps and larger (remember here it's still a pre public beta and will prob look alittle better when it launches). Also this is an unannounced map so who knows how close to finished it is.

For the people that say halo sux and it's nothing special...to each his own opnion but numbers don't lie. Accodrinf to bungie.com right now at 11am EST on a tuesday there are almost 10k people playing Halo 2. It is what one of if not the fastest selling game of all time. Has it not been ranked in the top 10 most plaied live games since 360 was realeased (is it not an original xbox game). I mean c'mon people...hate on it all u want but you can't deny the facts.

You like GoW? Great me too. Uber graphics and 4 on 4 matches on retardedly small maps with terrible MP options aside...i still play it more then i play Halo 2....why? because more of my friends play that...which leads me to my final point...

I guarntee at least half if not all the people hating on Halo 3 right now will buy it when it comes out...why? because it will be the new hotness regardless of what you think...why? because all your firends will be playing it...why? because the majority of the xbox live community will move from GoW, CC3, R6, GRAW or whatever game they are playing to halo 3...why? because regardless of wether you hate the halo franchise or not we all know that halo 2 is going to go down as once of the greatest games of all time as well as the halo franchise...theres no denying it.

Call me a fanboy if u want but i play'd a game of halo 2 for the first time in about 7 months last night only because of the new maps (oh yea new maps...what other game has that kind of support that far into it's life cycle?)... before that it has been primarly GoW..but i look forward to Halo 3 because nothing on the 360 has touched the amounth of fun i had with xbox live during the first year of halo 2...simple as that.

@ #1 lolz!...wishful thinking man but i doubt technology like this is being used in the Wii. i mean Nintendo has said its not participating in the "next-gen" graphic wars and this article is talking about 2-3 cards stacked (in or around the X1900 series of cards) and the Wii is what...the size of the slim ps2...like i said wishful thinking...but it did make me chuckle =)

to # 4....if im not mistaken this is a dual core gpu...meaning 2 gpus on on card. a quad sli set up would just be 2 of these cards not 4. there for it would be 237 x 2 = 474 watts. still alot of power but alot better then a ridicuous 948 heh
