Why do all remakes need HD attached to the end of the name?

I don't think they are done making their 3ds pokemon engine yet, so the ds is more logical for extra sales.

Joystiq is usually pretty slow at getting pokemon news out.

Especially when its years newer than the other systems.

They are just trying to justify all the "3ds is doomed" comments they made in the past year.

It's because they spent the last year constantly talking about how big of a failure the 3DS was even though it was very easy for people like me to remember how bad the DS was in its first year.

They don't mean the back catalog, the DS had a horrible selection of new games for its first year. People complained about the 3DS, but its only because they don't remember being stuck with yoshis touch and go and super mario 64 ds for an entire year before all the good games started to come out.

I got the first one, mostly because its so cheap. It hasn't really held my interest enough for me to go through the entire game, I probably only put an hour or two into it so far and it was obviously a well made game but I don't think it really justified the ridiculous amount of sequels it has gotten in such a short time frame.
