Dungeon Defenders picks up gold from 600K sales

Dec 22nd 2011 11:02AM (Joystiq)
I love this game and I have spent many hours playing it on my xbox, but i have to say i am starting to get upset about the lack of support for the console versions of the game. It is great that we get this dlc, but there have been several packs made available for the pc version and as far as i can tell, there does not seem to be any intention of adding any of this for consoles.

Mostly i would like to see them make the patches and gameplay tweaks (i.e. the addition of "superloot"and issues with apprentice towers) available for consoles. From what i have read, PS3 players have it much worse, with issues with freezing and save files getting wiped. I know that they are a small dev and that the console companies (Microsoft for sure, not positive about Sony's policies) make it difficult and expensive to patch games, but it still feels like we are getting left in the dust.

I would just break down and buy it on steam if it wasn't for all the hours i have invested in the xbla version.

I never pirate any PC games... unless they do this. It is like they are challenging me to do it.

Direct2Drive offering new deals all month

@Slomoshun
Are you really claiming that Steam is the only service to drastically cut prices in an article about huge price slashes on D2D?

Not to mention that the reason that a service like D2D is cutting their prices like this is more than likely to try and stay competitive with steam. More competition = better prices and services for consumers.

This is the kind of reaction I like to see from a company when something like this happens.

Kudos to Sony.
All other online companies, please take notes.

They forgot to mention how much that tuxedo wearing fetus likes to flip you off. That seems like the type of information that would fit well in that sentence.

Streets of Rage 2 now on iOS App Store for $2.99

Don't be sad, you can still find the streets of rage remake on several torrent sites. This is the kind of thing torrent sites are built for.

And you don't even need to feel like a pirate since it was freeware.

The day that i bought my 360, i bought this came and the original geometry wars. I beat every level in under par time except "Schadenfreude", which I couldn't even beat, let alone get par time.

It is upsetting to see such a great game just disappear like this.
