You are a complete and utter moron if you purchase this device.

Some HTC Hero units shipping sans EV-DO Rev. A on Sprint? (update: nope!)

I just did a mobile speedtext: 2.72Mbps. My phone says Rev0. It's a text error, it's actually RevA & Sprint confirmed it.

Just talked to Sprint. Internal email just posted about the Rev0 issue: All phones are actually RevA; early HTC Hero's that went out posted wrong. I asked her to email me the memo but it's against their policy.

Dyson DC23 Turbinehead impressions

The DC24 is also $399. I don't see that much difference in comparison on their website. One has a ball (DC24) and is lighter, and the other (DC23) doesnt and is 8lbs heavier (but has sleeker design (less parts).

Thoughts?

Sprint's big surprise to be unlimited mobile calling, data, text, and MMS for $70 (update: official)

That will be my favorite feature, being able to use my city discount that was stripped away when I got the unlimited plan. Hopefully they let you put those discounts on this plan, but even at $70 with $10-$15 for taxes, still a hellava deal.

All you just described was the Simply Everything plan which has been out for over a year now...

This is a mobile to mobile unlimited plan across carriers...

This Wednesday: Turtles in Time comes out of its shell on XBLA

This game looks great graphically. Game play is button mashing but fun. Prob worth $10 but I doubt I'll get it, it's just one that'll sit on the virtual shelf after a few plays.

Poll: Are you buying a Palm Pre?

May 19th 2009 1:01PM (Engadget)
I don't plan on being a beta tester for this phone. I fell for that with the G1 and ended up wasting money. I'll let it grow for 6-8 months then take a look at it. Currently I'm very happy with the Treo Pro and WinMo 6 with my Exchange server.

TeleNav launches GPS navigation for the G1

Feb 21st 2009 11:32PM (Engadget)
People hate TeleNav for their mobile devices because of monthly fee. But what if you paid a one-time fee then changed phone platforms? Monthly makes more sense people.
