Mar 6th 2010 12:01PM (Engadget)If I offered you a brand new 4 cylinder car for, say, $500 you'd probably take it. But if there was a brand new 8 cylinder car sitting next to it that someone else was offering for the same $500 (that was just as fuel efficient and so on as the 4 cylinder), which would you choose? Does it matter that the 8 cylinder car is faster only because it has more power due to it having twice as many cylinders? Or is the comparison between the two cars not valid, therefore you shouldn't consider either over the other?

Mar 6th 2010 9:12AM (Engadget)Architecture doesn't matter when you're buying these things, the only comparison is price. This whole argument that comparing a single GPU based card to a dual-GPU card isn't "fair" is a load of crap. If both cost $650, which would you buy? Which would you tell your readers to buy? That's why they need to be compared with each other!

Oct 18th 2009 11:04PM (Joystiq)What you need to do is send a different kind of message... stop posting on their forums about it. Stop hyping it everywhere. Flood their forums with some hype about some other games. There are some good ones in the Battlefield series coming, and Dice has already said that they'd never dick over PC gamers like IW is doing. Talk about that instead while blissfully ignoring MW2. If you want to piss them off and get your message across, that's how you do it. Really cram it down their throats, fill their forums with Battlefield 3 talk.
