Zero and Joe the Condor are the last two Tatsunoko vs. Capcom characters

Oct 14th 2009 7:43AM (Joystiq)
Why are Capcom being pricks? The character that everyone wants to see in this game is Megaman! Everyone wants to see Megaman! People hoped to see him in Brawl and it didn't happen, now there is a Capcom fighting game and....we get Zero? Nobody gives a damn about Zero! Just give the people Megaman!

Wii Warm Up: Wii Continue Playing

I still play billiards now and then. I think that game alone is worth the $10 bucks. The tank game is kinda cool too.

Point/Counterpoint: Is saving to SD the right way to keep Wii fridges fresh?

Oct 23rd 2008 10:17PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
If anyone with web site creating skills wants to help me, I was thinking of starting a boycott on all wiiware and vc games until Nintendo lets people play games directly off the sd card. There have already been games that I didn't buy because of storage issues. Switching games back and forth is tedious and pointless. Some of these Wiiware games take up huge chunks of memory. World of Goo alone is about 350 blocks! (you could download up to 20 nes games for that amount of space). If they expect to be able to keep selling Wiiware games, they REALLY need to do something about this. Not to mention games with downloadable content like the next Guitar Hero.

I think WAY more downloading is done by core, rather than casual gamers. The type who need that storage. The type who are willing to make a fuss.
If we can get a good percentage of those core gamers to stop buying Wiiwae and VC games, it will make a very noticeable impact on sales.

Nintendo needs it shoved in their face that they are just wrong. Hitting them in the pocket book is the best way to get their attention. If anyone wants to help me organize this, I'd appreciate it. I think it could work.

Wii Fanboy Poll: Do you homebrew?

Aug 6th 2008 10:55PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I installed it recently and can't get the emulators to work. One thing that does work and I love is the video player. Now when I download a movie on my computer, I can just throw it on an sd card and watch it on tv!

Virtually Overlooked: Bionic Commando

I don't get it. Why would anyone be offended by seeing Hitler as a bad guy, having his head blow up? I mean, give it a T or and M rating if you have to. But I don't think anyone would be OFFENDED by it. Well, neo-nazis. But I don't think that anyone is worried about offending neo-nazis.

Wii Warm Up: No online for you

Feb 10th 2008 11:30AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Not having online multiplayer on Corruption was a huge mistake. I think it may be one of the most boneheaded moves Nintendo has ever made. Especially since they established multiplayer Metroid with Hunters. Online multiplayer would have been amazing on Corruption. I would still be playing it every day. It would have made Corruption the Wii's "Halo". I really don't understand the decision not to do this.

Wii Warm Up: No More Copies

Jan 24th 2008 10:27AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
On tuesday, I tried to go buy NMH and the new Advance Wars. All the stores pretty much said that NMH would be in the next day, and I should put a pre-order down because of their insane ordering policy. So I did. Got it yesterday. It's awesome. Funny thing is that even with Advance Wars, no Game Stop in the area had any copies beyond the pre-ordered ones! ADVANCE WARS! I went to Toys R Us, and picked up a copy no problem. Game Stop needs to realize that they aren't going to sell stuff that they don't have, and that most people don't like to pre-order. It's not like they are a music or book store where there will be dozens of obscure releases every week. What really burns me is that I know that I would never have a problem finding the latest shovelware that gets churned out full steam ahead for the Wii.
