Important or not, surfing the net on your 360

Dec 23rd 2006 11:48AM (Joystiq Xbox)
Internet is always spelled with a capital I. It's the name of this public network we use. It is THE Internet - not AN internet.

And I vote for a web browser too in the 360 too! :)

AT&T accurately predicts the future, incorrectly picks delivering company

Dec 7th 2006 6:18PM (Engadget)
I rememeber seeign these when they aired.

These predictions were not terribly forward-thinking at the time. I believe all of these technologies were available or the obvious direction we were going, but maybe not commercially available.

My question is this.. Is that David Duchovny's voice?

A few of my favorite Widgets

Nov 22nd 2006 11:15AM (TUAW.com)
Don't forget the Dating Widget! It shows you photos of people on your desktop based on your dating interests. If someone pops up that seems interesting, you click on him or her to see their full profile.

Microsoft, please fix Remote Desktop Connection for Mac

Oct 10th 2006 3:24PM (TUAW.com)
Thanks for bringing this up. The biggest gripe I have is performance. It runs painfully slow on a Mac Mini I have. I know it's not a newer model Mac, but RDC works perfectly on really, realy old PC's.

Turn Google gadgets into widgets, widgets into apps

iPhone signal emanating from January's Macworld 2007

Sep 15th 2006 3:48PM (Engadget)
So this article has nothing to do with iPhone, but everything to do with Think Secret's lack of credibility? Yet the subject line begs for attention suggesting that the iPhone will be out at MacWorld, therefore begging for the same unwarranted attention that Think Secret is being targetted for in this very article. Hypocritical.

Top 10 awful achievements

Sep 13th 2006 1:32PM (Joystiq Xbox)
What about how you get separate achievements for Quake IV, depending on the difficulty. So if you get the achievement for the hardest level, you still have to play it all over at the easier levels to earn those achievements. Dumb.

Psychonauts willing its way to BC List

Aug 29th 2006 9:07AM (Joystiq Xbox)
I own this for XBOX and I would buy it again for 360 if it offered points. I got every single figment (that was hard), mental cobweb, etc in the game - but you don't really get much for your efforts (a different ending video). I would have settled for some Xbox live points! :) This game is awesome! Instead of e-mailing about BC, e-mail about a sequel!!!

TiVo Series 3 coming September 17th for $799?

Aug 28th 2006 2:56PM (Engadget)
Finally! I was an early adopted of TiVo and ultimately switched to Comcast's DVR solution since it supported HDTV and could record two channels simultaneously. But their DVR is terrible - the interface stinks, and it's extremely buggy. I look forward to returning back to TiVo w/ two cable cards - finally the best of both worlds.

Mac "G6" now available for $499

May 11th 2006 11:17AM (Engadget)
MARC, why would you or enGadget promote an illegal purchase like this? The specs are clearly fictitious (PowerPC Intel??), they are selling it with illegal copies of software (PhotoShop, Mac OS X) - and that all assumes you actually get anything when you send them your money! I'm disappointed in this site for posting this article the way it's worded, practically encouraging people to purchase it.
