I have a moderately capable PC that could run rings around this and a room full of consoles, yet I still want this little thing for some inexplicable reason.
This looks a lot better in comparison with the first video- the 3D seems to have come a long way from the models everybody was criticising before. I might pick this one up after all.
I can't understand why some of you are so bitter. Those of you that are saying that this kid is a loser or faking it are obviously inadequate for some reason. The video itself is impressive and the kid is clearly great at the game- what else is there to say? Do you somehow feel the need to prove that you're better than him in some way?
"Well, let's see him do this on a real guitar..."
We'll see what he gets for Christmas then, shall we? He's clearly dexterous enough to have an advantage when he's beginning and he's obviously prepared to practice a lot.
I've been experiencing a lot of homophobic abuse on WoW recently and it's as ugly as some of the frankly mind-boggling justification of its use on this comments page.
You cannot call this abuse a leftover from a previous generation or justify its use because your friends do the same- you *know* that the terms used (and how they are used in the context of an insult and/or negative situation) have negative homosexual connotations. You *are* being homophobic.
Are you just using them and inventing a middle ground because you can get away with doing so in a predominantly heterosexual environment?
It'll be interesting to see if Sony uses the PS3's compatibility with Linux and these peripherals as a means of classing the PS3 as a home computer, therefore avoiding European taxes.
"My system is currently downloading its second update. The first took at least 5 minutes to download and the second one is looking to be the same. I'm guessing the Nintendo servers are slow but this is unacceptable."
Perhaps it's because you and everybody else who has a Wii over the launch weekend are updating your consoles at the same time? Be patient, it's unlikely that connections will be that slow in future.
X-Wing Alliance is being re-released at the same time according to the major retailer I work for, hence the lack of X-Wing/TIE Fighter games in this pack. Sam & Max, Monkey Island, The Dig and a few others are also due for re-release at the same time according to our system but I have no idea if they run under XP/Vista as they haven't turned up yet.
